  1. SHAREWARE NOTICE  
  2.        If you downloaded this font as  
  3. shareware or received it as part of a  
  4. shareware package you are obligated to  
  5. register the font with Ragnarok if you  
  6. wish to continue to use it after a 30 day  
  7. trial period.  
  8. To register the font you should send  
  9. us $5 per font and once that is done, the  
  10. version you have is registered and may be  
  11. used indefinitely.  
  12. However, it's a much better idea to  
  13. actually purchase a copy of the Scriptorium  
  14. Font Library disk which features this font.  
  15. For $15 per disk you can get a disk with 10  
  16. or more fonts like this one, but with the  
  17. complete character sets and with no further  
  18. obligation to register them as shareware,  
  19. plus the option to receive regular updates  
  20. for a small fee.  
  21. When you order, just mention  
  22. which font you have and we'll see that  
  23. you get the correct disk.

  25. THE SCRIPTORIUM FONT LIBRARY  
  26.   
  27. The Scriptorium Font Library is a  
  28. collection of fonts designed by Dave  
  29. Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in  
  30. their publications.  These fonts have  
  31. just been made available by mailorder  
  32. or as shareware from Ragnarok.  
  33.       Provided here is an up to date  
  34. listing of all the font disks available at  
  35. this time.  Each disk includes at least  
  36. 10 fonts, which are fully registered  
  37. when you purchase the disk.  
  38. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I  
  39.   
  40. This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3  
  41. calligraphic fonts, 3 display fonts and  
  42. 3 specialty fonts taken from our  
  43. original series of font disks.  It  
  44. includes our very popular Taranis font  
  45. as well as the new Fabliaux font, the  
  46. medieval calligraphic fonts Bastarda  
  47. and Courthand, plus two fonts from  
  48. the Ysgarth role-playing game and the  
  49. uniquely mystical Goetic font based  
  50. on 18th century magical scripts.  $15.

  53. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II  
  54.   
  55. This contains a new variety  
  56. selection of fonts, including text,  
  57. display, and calligraphic fonts  
  58. which are taken mostly from our second  
  59. series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  61. SFL-2001: Text Fonts  
  62.         This contains 10 unique serif and sans-serif fonts which meet the  
  63. high  
  64. resolution demands of all text uses.  
  65. The collection includes some elegant  
  66. traditional fonts (both serif and sans-  
  67. serif) like our Tancred and Palomides  
  68. fonts, plus some very unusual  
  69. offerings like the Kelmscott font based  
  70. on William Morris' Troy font from the  
  71. Kelmscott edition of Chaucer's works.

  74. SFL-2002: Text Fonts II  
  75.   
  76. This collection includes ten great  
  77. new text fonts, including 5 serif and 5  
  78. sans serif fonts.  It will be available in  
  79. the summer of 1993 for $15.  Update $5.  
  80. SFL-3001: Display Fonts  
  81.   
  82. This disk features 10 attractive  
  83. display fonts, including several art  
  84. nouveau and medieval styles, plus a  
  85. couple of unusual special use fonts.  
  86. Our favorites are the Starfield font,  
  87. which looks like a scattered field of  
  88. stars, the Buccaneer font, drawn from  
  89. 17th century wanted posters and the  
  90. Ariosto and Elysian fonts based on  
  91. hand drawn fonts of the Munich  
  92. Jugendstil movement of the 1890s.  
  93. Because these are display fonts they  
  94. may not all include both upper and  
  95. lower case letters, but they include all  
  96. characters which are available and we  
  97. will expand the character sets as we  
  98. continue to work with them.  $15.

  101. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts  
  102.   
  103. This disk features 10 new display  
  104. fonts, including a number of  
  105. interesting renaissance styles, plus  
  106. some early modern book styles and  
  107. decorative initials.  Among the fonts  
  108. featured are Bucephalus, Beaumarchais,  
  109. Oberon, Titania and Cymbeline.  This disk  
  110. has just been released.  $15.  Update $5.

  112. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts  
  113.   
  114. This disk includes a variety of  
  115. calligraphic fonts, including several Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on  
  116. medieval and renaissance calligraphy  
  117. and calligraphy from several 19th  
  118. century art nouveau designers.  
  119. Because these are based on genuine  
  120. calligraphy they may not include all  
  121. the characters you may expect and  
  122. may include specialty characters or  
  123. strange alternate forms for some  
  124. letters.  $15.  Update $5.

  126. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts  
  127.   
  128. This disk includes a variety of  
  129. medieval English, French and Italian  
  130. lettering styles plus several Eastern  
  131. European styles.  It includes the medieval  
  132. fonts Burgundian, Franconian and  
  133. Theodoric, the Roman style fonts  
  134. Publius, Ravenna and Cicero, plus a style  
  135. based on the calligraphy of the artist  
  136. Howard Pyle.  It will be available in  
  137. the Summer of '93. $15.  Update $5.

  139. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts  
  140.   
  141. A collection of fonts for  
  142. languages which don't use the English  
  143. alphabet, including both obscure real  
  144. world and historical languages and  
  145. role-playing game world languages.  
  146. Check out the Coptic and Futhark  
  147. fonts if you want something really  
  148. different.  Oh, and did you say you  
  149. were going mad because you couldn't  
  150. decorate your computer-generated  
  151. icons without Church Slavonic?  Well,  
  152. try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but  
  153. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.

  156. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts  
  157.   
  158. A special assortment of art fonts  
  159. where each letter is a decorative initial  
  160. or small picture.  It includes several  
  161. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a  
  162. set of Arthurian miniatures, a  
  163. collection of map decorations, a font  
  164. of art nouveau faces, a collection of  
  165. heraldic designs and some Art  
  166. Nouveau floral motifs.  This disk is not  
  167. yet available, but it can be advance  
  168. ordered for $15.

  170. UPDATE POLICY  
  171.   
  172. Each of our font disks is updated  
  173. with new versions at least once every  
  174. three months, with updates being  
  175. released on the first of January, April,  
  176. July and October.  If you send in your  
  177. original disk and $5 we will update  
  178. you with the latest versions of all the  
  179. fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts  
  180. are brand new, so expect pretty  
  181. substantial changes with some of the  
  182. updates over the next year or so.  
  183.   
  184. SHAREWARE NOTE  
  185.   
  186. Support shareware.  If you see  
  187. our disks being circulated as  
  188. unregistered copies (without our  
  189. shareware notice), let us know...or let  
  190. the culprit know that you dont'  
  191. approve.  These fonts are too damned  
  192. cheap for anyone NOT to pay their  
  193. shareware fee or order them on disk.

  200. order YOU MUST SPECIFY YOUR COMPUTER  
  201. TYPE.  If you fail to specify the type of

  204. replacement charge for a new disk in  
  205. the proper format.
